Wohoooo! Guys, we (the Mass Comm PR students) will be holding an awareness exhibition on crime this week. This is the first time we are giving info and a talk on things happen around us.

Do come and witness the K-9 dog demonstration (I'll be taking care of the dog! woof!), the weapon exhibition, talk by Malaysia's top criminologist Kamal Affendi and many, many more.

FlyFM troopers and MyTV3 rovers will be coming too. So It's gonna be hap-hap-happening, y'all!

Time’s Up! It’s a wake up call! - An awareness campaign organized by semester 4 Public Relations students of the Mass Communication Faculty (FKPM). Further details of the campaign are as follows:

Well-known criminologist Kamal Affendi Hashim will make a special appearance as a speaker for this awareness campaign. What’s more, this campaign also presents a chance for attendees to be a Rakan Cop member, see exclusive pictures released by the police force, receive souvenirs from MyTV3 and also gain in-depth knowledge about crime prevention.

Kepada siapa anda akan meminta untuk mendapatkan bantuan? Kes jenayah saban hari semakin meningkat dan seringkali menjadi igauan masyarakat. Ayuh! Marilah kita bersama-sama membanteras jenayah dan melindungi diri kita dengan cara yang paling berkesan.

Times Up! It’s a wake up call! – sebuah kempen kesedaran jenayah, anjuran pelajar semester 4 UiTM Fakulti Komunikasi dan Media jurusan Perhubungan Awam. Berikut adalah butiran lanjut untuk kempen ini:

Kamal Affendi Hashim is a well-known crime analyst in our country. His passion about crime manifested during his time as a Photo Journalist (1986 – 1989). He then served PDRM as a CID (1989 – 1995) and following that he went to United Kingdom to further his studies in Criminology for three years.

In 1998 he came home to take up the post of Chairman of the Public Education Committee. Presently, he is also the Exco of Malaysia Crime Prevention Foundation (MCPF) as well as the Chairman of Youth Outreach Committee. Due to his active involvement working with and helping various committees in the fight against crime, he is listed as a finalist for The NST – Price Waterhouse Cooper Malaysian Humanitarian Award.
