Crazy stuff. I've seen him played and he is in my top list favorite DJ. In 2006, SvD was debuted at the #32 spot in DJ Mag Top 100 DJ list. Now, he is sitting at the #13.

Who can't forget his remix of Arctic Monkeys "When the Sun Goes Down"? A very classic, yet top notch remix of Wamdue Project's "King of My Castle" that got me singing. The highly notable remix of "Control Freak" by Armin van Buuren is also my favorite remix of him.

Last year, he came out with his debut album titled "Supernaturalistic" comprising some of his signature track such as Grasshopper, Riff and By Any Demand. The Bass was his debut single from the album and he was also featured by Tiesto in his radio show "ClubLife" for a special session. I hope he'll bring more energy in his set at Knight Castle 09 party.

Besides him, the infamous Woody van Eyden also will be playing at the Knight Castle 09. Not familiar with the name?


Well, this is his first time in Malaysia and he has been playing in front of thousands and His studio ability has made him a very demanded remixer/producer over the years, remixing/producing for artists like Armin van Buuren, Alex M.O.R.P.H, Talla 2XLC, Andy Moor, Duderstadt and more under labels such as Fenology Records, Vandit, Armada, Ministry of Sound, Kontor, Ultra US or ATCR (to name a few).

Recently, he entered the Top 100 DJ list by DJ Mag together with Alex M.O.R.P.H.

Tracks that you should listen from him are Turn It On, Heavenly and of course, everyone's favorite Walk the Edge.

I really want to see him play with Alex M.O.R.P.H on one stage. *take note, organizers! hehehe*

Famous names such as Scott Alert, DJ Shary and DJ Nikki are in the bill too. Nobody wants to miss Hard Kandy DJ in an outdoor event, right?

Created with the vision of being an experiential music festival injected with heavy dosages of novelty, from the selection of a cool and invigorating location to the imaginative theme of ancient castles occupied by knights in shining armours, Knight Castle 09 will be featuring international headliner Sander Van Doorn (Netherlands), Woody Van Eyden (Netherlands), DJ Sharry (Indonesia), Scott Alert (Australia), and our very own talent DJ Nikki!

Respectably ranked #13 in the 2008’s DJ Mag Top 100 poll, in-between dance music legends Carl Cox and Paul Oakenfold, Sander van Doorn is a blessed musical genius who continuously take the world by storm since his entrance to the music circuit. With various accolades stripped under his belt, including the “Best Breakthrough Artist” at the IDMA’s at WMC 2009, guest appeared on Tiesto’s “In Search of Sunrise Tour”, and headlined sets at Cream, one can safely wish for Sander to swoon everyone off their feet at Knight Castle 09 as our Dutch tech-trance-meister saddles on his rider.
