Few seconds before the end credit, Serena was crying. She was sitting on the stairs with Blair.
Oh yes.
Serena said, "I KILLED SOMEONE" and then the song from the Kills played in the background (U R A Fever).

I was like what?!?!?!?!!!?!??!?!

So I rewind it again to hear it.

Yes. She said, "I killed someone."
And yes... it's in the New York Post!

WE knew Serena van der Woodsen had a shady past ever since the first episode of "Gossip Girl" when she reappeared in New York after serving time in a Connecticut boarding school for undisclosed reasons.

Now, we know why - she's a murderer. Until now, there had been only casual allusions and the occasional flashback to Serena's (Blake Lively) wayward past.

The "new and improved" Serena has been nothing but tedious perfection, staying away from all of the nefarious things she used to indulge in - alcohol, drugs and her best friend's boyfriend.

But on Monday night's episode of the addictive series about kids at an elite Upper East Side prep school, Serena stunned fans when she confessed to her best friend, Blair Waldorf, in the episode's final moments: "I killed someone."

The details remain hazy, but luckily, Serena's old "frenemy," Georgina Sparks, captured the entire event in a steamy video that promises to tell all next week.

Viewers didn't get to see what - or who - was on the video, but the audio implied that she killed a boy during some sort of sexual encounter. Serena, sounding rather inebriated, is heard to say: "It's too hot."
