The Story Begins...

Björk's sixth full-length studio album Volta, a follow-up to 2004's Medúlla, was released on May 7, 2007. It was primarily written and produced by Björk herself and features ten new tracks. It features input from acclaimed producer Timbaland, Antony Hegarty and Sjón among other artists.

The album Volta was released on May 7. The first single off the album, Earth Intruders, was released on April 9 2007. It debuted at no.9 on the Billboard album chart in the U.S.A, her first album to debut in the top ten, and it netted week-one sales of 43,000. The album also reached no.3 on the French album charts with sales of 20,600 albums sold in it's first week and no.7 in the UK with 20,456 units sold. Her record label One Little Indian has anticipated Volta, as it features Timbaland, a producer who has worked with Nelly Furtado and Justin Timberlake, to be her biggest album to date, as well as achieve huge success internationally.

You guys should listen to her new album pasal best giler! Medulla was so dark... Volta is so politic! I would give 5 out of 5 for this one. Bjork did a very good job for this album.
