AFTER PARTY: Chivas pres. Steve Aoki @ Euphoria by MOS, Sunway (25/12/2009)

The Story Begins...

Euphoria's dance floor transformed into a massive playground for hipsters on Christmas. Less deco? That's for sure! More room for the hipsters to jump and mosh. For a god of electro like Steve Aoki, it is a must to have a special stage for him to stage dive.

I reached Euphoria as early as 10.45pm and I was surprised to see the queue for cover charge. Longer than the queue for LRT at KLCC! Took me half hour to pass the door staff but it was all good.

The dance floor was packed like mad. Foulworks did a great job to bounce the crowd... but everything turned into a mayhem as soon as Steve Aoki took over the decks. You got nowhere to go. People pushing everywhere. Everyone was gasping for breath. All I could see was hands... and suddenly I heard the "tick-tock" sound. I realized one thing, "there will be no mercy on the dance floor!"

When the crowd screamed "1-2 WHOOP WHOOP". Everyone could not stop jumping! Steve Aoki went totally berserk on stage! Everyone pushed harder to make their way nearer to him. He popped the champagne and sprayed it to the crowd. It was madness!

Throughout the one and a half hour gig, his set was better than UOX Play Future. UOX was more house-y but the Christmas gig was very indie-dance in full blast from Bloc Party, Bloody Beetroots and Queen.

It was a great Christmas gift! Thanks to Foulworks & Steve Aoki!

Other than the fees, taxes and real money is there anything else different between them? I'm using Meta trader 4 for fake money.
