Organized by Marctensia and UCSI Communications, The Beyonce “I am…..” World Tour Live in Malaysia 2009 will kick off on Sunday, 25 October 2009 at the National Stadium, Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur at 8:00p.m. Her “I am…” World Tour is the third worldwide concert tour by Beyoncé in support of her third studio album, I AM...Sasha Fierce. The Story Begins...

When I first saw the trailer for "Where the Wild Things Are", I was stunned and really, really fell in love with it. The movie is based from a 48-pages children storybook with around 10 sentences in it.

The movie is produced by Spike Jones and the soundtrack is going to be awesome. Spike Jones former girlfriend, Karen O (who is also the vocal for Yeah Yeah Yeahs), wrote for the movie soundtrack. The trailer itself uses the song from Arcade Fire titled "Wake Up" which did portrays the mood to it.

Karen O and the Kids teamed up for a song in the soundtrack which has already been released and title is "All is Love". A beautiful song, it is. Check it out below!



"All is Love" is also being featured in an anti-fat advertisement called "Did You Play Today?" by the US Department of Health and Human Service.

The album soundtrack will be released on the September 29 in the US. Queens of the Stone Age, The Raconteurs and Deerhunter will contribute their song for the movie soundtrack also. Make sure you guys will look out for it.


The most anticipated movie, "Where the Wild Things Are", is scheduled to release on the October 16, 2009. Check out the trailer.

The Music Conference Asia Digital Music Competition (MC Asia-DMC) is the first music competition of its kind to be open to all digital music enthusiasts in Asia and Australasia, amateur and professionals alike, with a guaranteed opportunity for international exposure.

Here's the detail:

• There will be two (2) categories in the competition, namely “Remix Contest” and “Music Video Contest”.
• “Remix Contest” – contestant to create an original remix of “SPARK”, MC Asia theme song produced by DJ Preach and Matthew Ryan, based on the individual’s creativity and auditory expression. Need to strictly adhere to the main subject of the original track - the vocal by Matthew Ryan. All genres and style of remixes are welcome.
• “Music Video Contest” – contestant to create an original Music Video for “SPARK”, MC Asia theme song produced by DJ Preach and Matthew Ryan, based on the individual’s creativity and visual expression.
  
• Contest period is from 8th September 09 to 15th October 2009.
• Limited to first 500 entries only for each category, and contestants may register to submit more than one (1) entry.
• Participants must be 18 years of age or above, residing in Asia and Australasia.
• Judging will begin on 16th October 2009. Results will be announced latest by 20th November 2009. All decisions made are final and no appeal or correspondence will be entertained.

I went to Bangsar Village 2 yesterday to check out the new wristwatch/lifestyle store called H5. The store, founded by Tong Chee Wei, carries a wide range of high street products where technology meets hip design such as Alive Tokyo, Noon Copenhagen, Lip from France, Philippe Starck, FeiYu shoes and the star brand, NOOKA!


The store looks cool. The simple yet modern interior will definitely captivate your attention to the stuffs there. Not only watches and shoes, the store also sells collectible toys. Bearbrick toy collectors out there should check'em out!

H5 recently gave out 3 Nooka watches in Facebook. I was one of the lucky winners! Thanks to Tong. The Nooka Zub Zenv totally made everybody envy-ing me. Haha. I asked him on the glow in the dark Nooka (specially made for Kanye West) because I saw it online and thought of holding it. Unfortunately, he said Goldfish bought the last piece. *boo-hoo*
