Why?
Paul van Dyk is one of the few DJs that really gets people's hearts racing every time he visits Kuala Lumpur for one of his famed DJ sets.
It's hard to pin down exactly why but Zouk KL absolutely adores him. Back after a 1 year absence, he is part of a massive world tour that has seen him grace some of the world's more prestigious clubs and biggest festivals.
He counts Zouk KL as one of his favourite stops on the world tour and its not hard to see why. His last few times here have been packed with a carnival like environment full of his most ardent admirers branding Vandit (his record label) t-shirts. This will be without a shadow of a doubt one of KL's highlights of the clubbing year. Do not miss the king of the Electronic Dance Music movement as he takes you on a spellbinding journey through some of the best music around.
Watch this video! PvD at Music Discovery Project 2009. My favorite track "Forbidden Fruit" with an orchestra.

Why?
Electrofux was in KL for Clef Tunes event and now he is here again for a back-to-back gig at Cloth & Clef in KL. I was there and his set was good. I'm expecting him to play a live set this time around.
Here's a description from his MySpace profile:
"Started to mingle with a drum machine that doesn't belong to him & was facinated by it during early 90s.Self educate in electronic movement & sounds,Electrofux originated as a live group of electronic music in 1997 in Bandung, Rudolph Herdiman is the founder of the band. Influenced by alot of different music background, Electrofux uses a compact desk of sequencers, samplers and drum machines. Now DJing with all of his own remixes but still with a touch of sequencers in every set."
I recommend you to experience his music. Check out this video.

Another round of Speedzone in Malaysia will definitely bring us the best names of the Dance scene. We had Paul Oakenfold, Judge Jules, Ricky Stone and Nic Fanciulli rocking the stage at the last Speedzone in KL Tower earlier this year. I believe most party-goers wouldn't miss this round too. There will be two hot DJs headlining the event.
Check out the deets below!

When?
24th October 2009 (Saturday)
Who?
How?
Tickets can be purchased at Axcess counter soon
RM33 (presale), RM43 (door)
Why?
I've attend Speedzone parties since 2006 and it never let me down! You name it!
Gabriel & Dresden (2006), Yoji Biomehanika & Marco V (2007), Princess Superstar (2007), Mauro Picotto (2008), Benny Benassi (2008), Judge Jules & Paul Oakenfold (2009) and now, they are bringing back one of the best sets I've heard during my Speedzone experience; Marco V!
Yeah, Marco V played at the sold-out Speedzone Tour in 2007. He dropped awesome tunes such as my favorite classic track "Red Blue Purple" and everyone's favorite "False Light". He did played Alex MORPH's "Life Less Ordinary" and it was fucking A+! Genius, pioneer and a legend. Those are the words that I can describe about him.
The English Dance guru, Eddie Halliwell will make his way to Speedzone Tour MotoGP up in Genting. I see no reason for people not to make their way to this event.
RM33 for pre-sale ticket and you get to see two big names. That is a good deal!
