The MotoGP fever is back to grip Malaysian speed fans this October!! And to match this hottest race in the world, Speed Zone Tour 2008 - the most sizzling party of the season is set and ready to torch the town with heated grooves to celebrate with its ardent fans!

This year, Speed Zone Tour 2008, will be held in the eclectic and vibrant setting of Zouk, KL’s hottest night spot on the 18 October 2008, from 8.30pm onwards. Come feel the night heat up for yourself at Zouk KL, as international DJs including:

and our local talent Joey G and Twilight Action Girl scratch and burn the decks to blow your minds away!

The first 200 registered member of www.speedzonetour.com to turn up at Zouk KL on event night will party for FREE! Registration on the Speed Zone website could be promptly from the 18th September 2008 onwards.

However, for those who missed out, tickets are on sale at the door for just RM50 (inclusive of 2 beverages).

Speed Zone Tour 2008 is open to partygoers 21 and above only, and all tickets collections and purchases are dependant on display of a valid photo IDs.

Organised to celebrate the thrill of the 2008 Malaysian Moto GP, the Speedzone Tour 2008 is presented by Speed Zone Entertainment, Zouk Kuala Lumpur, in conjunction with Sepang International Circuit.

SpeedZone Tour last 2 weeks was friggin' awesome!
Thanks to Thaiboxingirl for giving me the opportunity to meet with the DJs backstage.

She said, "Hey Adli, you know you got the backstage pass ar?"

I was like, "OMG, REALLY?"

She replied, "If you don't want then I give it to someone else lor..."

Hey! Never say NO to meet up with the DJ!

Mauro Picotto, Jon Carter, Gianluca Fucile, & Matt Hardwick... You guys are wicked!

Matt Hardwick played a remix of Radiohead's House of Cards.
I always wanted to hear any Radiohead remix at a party.

Oh well, can't wait for tiesto in Malaysia! Who knows? Maybe he'll be playing his own remix of Street Spirit. Or maybe Mat Zo's remix of Motion Picture Soundtrack.

Back to the story,
I would say Jon Carter's set was the bomb among all!
He was crazy!
Mauro Picotto started off slow but the beat builds up throughout his mix.
Matt Hardwick's mix... I would say it's predictable.

SpeedZone Tour is BACK!
This year would be my 3rd time attending the rave party.

2006, Gabriel & Dresden did awesomely great.
2007, I was blown away by Marco V & Yoji Biomehanika.

This year, will Mauro Picotto & Matt Hardwick keep us up party all night?

I'm sure they will.

Last week, I attended the Hot FM Big Jam at Dataran PJ.
Hahahha! Just for the sake of Meet Uncle Hussain and Hujan.
Their set was short but worth it.

Ungu was fine.
I hate the couple crowd! Pelok je memanjang while singing their songs.

Wednesday.
Backstreet Boys was here.
They had overwhelmed 10,000 fans in Sunway Lagoon.
I was there with my friends.
What can I say about it?
TWO THUMBS UP!

They made me bringing back the old memories when I was still in school with center parting hair style like Nick Carter! :D
Everybody (backstreet's back), I Want it That Way, More Than That, Larger Than Life, As Long As You Love Me, All I Have to Give, I'll Never Break Your Heart, Quit Playing Games (with my heart), Shape of My Heart, Show Me the Meaning of Being Lonely, The Call, The One, and latest ones such as Inconsolable and Helpless When She Smiles.

It was friggin' awesome!
Within 90 minutes, they managed to perform more than 20 songs. Their old songs, new ones and solo songs.

The next day, me and my fellow classmates had to attend the launching of the new season for Muzik-Muzik in One Utama. Everyone enjoyed the show but me and few people had to run here and there to interview the celebrities for our pre-graduation dinner promo video.

Artist performed that day was Ning Baizura, Misha Omar, Estranged & Bob AF2.
Even our lecturer came along to observe our activities on at the event. It was an "industrial visit" for our final semester. FREE MARKS!

Almost the whole college attend the event, I supposed!

Today (Saturday),
Me and Aisyah went to Double U Network in Sunway Mas to do the choreograph steps for school kids to dance. It's for a nursery rhyme show in TV1.

Pity those kids for being in the broadcasting industry at the very young age :(
They look small and got tired easily.

Oh yes,
I'm about to reveal this upcoming event that you guys wouldn't want to miss!

Sunburst KL International Music Festival 2008 @ Bukit Kiara Equestrian Park (15th March 2008)

What event is this?

Imagine this! 22 live acts and 4 stages! ISN'T THAT MASSIVE!?

Acts that are in the pipelines are Incubus, The Roots, The Offspring and others will be reveal soon by the organizer.

The list of acts which I've found on Myspace:

1. Danny Bedrosian & Secret Army (Funk, R&B & Soul)
2. Incognito (Jazz Funk)
3. George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic (Funk, R&B)
4. Richard Bailey (Fusion, Funk, Jazz) <--- Play drums for Incognito as well
5. Kidd Funkadelic (Metal)

Those acts put up the event in their tour dates. Yang lain-lain, i'm not sure :P
Hopefully we could get to see great bands coming to Malaysia!

If you can't get enough of Sunburst, rumors saying that lots and lots of great acts are coming here soon!
Switchfoot & Explosions in the Sky are confirm coming here. I want to go for Explosions in the Sky if got friend coming along :)
Rihanna & Celine Dion are expected to perform in KL either March or April. So as the Click Five for a full concert.
Toto is coming this March in Cyberjaya.
Sean Kingston & Colbie Caillat are also scheduled to promo their album in Malaysia early half of 2008.

Who else?
Mika, Maroon 5 & Bon Jovi might be coming here too but no confirmation dates have been made yet.

Someone said that... SPEEDZONE TOUR 2008 will be held again at KL Tower this 22nd of March. A week after Sunburst KL International Music Festival. Shit, have to save up my cash by now!

Either this May or June, three superstar DJs are making their way to KL. This one will be BIG!
Why? You'll know it soon.. :P
I can't reveal it here because I've made a promise with the contact person! hehehe.
